So far this summer, we’ve had the opportunity to explore Tuscaloosa Barnyard and the Cahaba River. Within the next week or two, I’m planning to take the girls to Montevallo to see the trees at Orr Park and hike to Falling Rock Falls. Also on the list before we head back to school is a trip down 65 South (from Birmingham) to Clanton to Peach Park and then on to Hope Hull to the Alabama Safari Park. And, of course, if I can fit more in, I definitely am going to try!
One quick thing to note is that some places take reservations/appointments (I know for sure that Shark Tooth Creek does) and other places may have limited hours or availability. Be sure to check websites and/or Facebook pages before venturing out.
With social distancing in full effect, I’m hoping these places will provide fun, safety (and some delicious peach ice cream!). Have you been to any of the places on the list?
