These Maple Waffle Bowls are an easy way to boost the plant protein in your meal resulting in a satisfying and nutritious breakfast that fits into your busy lifestyle.



  • 3 MorningStar Farms® Veggie Bacon Strips
  • 2 frozen waffles
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp butter (melted)
  • 1 green onion (chopped)


  1. Prepare MorningStar Farms Veggie Bacon Strips according to package directions. Cut into bite-size pieces.
  2. Toast waffles according to package directions. Cut into large pieces.
  3. Place waffle pieces in oven-safe bowl. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 450°F for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
  4. Arrange veggie bacon strip pieces on top of waffles. Drizzle with maple syrup and butter. Sprinkle with onion. Serve immediately.
