For a healthy and equally gory Halloween snack, serve Monster Grape Eyeballs featuring frozen grapes, yogurt and strawberry juice.
Scale
Ingredients
30 4-inch wooden skewers
30 large seedless grapes (red or green)
1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
Candy eyeballs
10 large strawberries, hulled (optional)
Instructions
Place one wooden skewer into the bottom of one grape. Repeat with remaining skewers and grapes. Place grapes in a single layer on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 2 hours or until grapes are solid.
Once frozen, remove grapes and dip individually into a bowl of yogurt, fully covering the outside of the grape. Add candy eyeball(s) to each grape then place back on the baking sheet.
Freeze once more for at least 45 minutes or until yogurt is frozen.
If desired, when ready to serve, place strawberries in a zip-top bag and mash completely. Cut corner of the bag and drizzle the grapes with strawberry juice. Serve immediately.
Notes
Wooden skewers, toothpicks and cake pop sticks all work well for holding the grapes
