Toasted Coconut Hot Chocolate

One sip and you will be whisked away to a tropical paradise, even if it’s snowing outside!



  • 1.5 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 cup milk (your choice of cows (almond, or coconut))
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp coconut extract
  • Whipped Topping
  • Handful toasted coconut flakes


  1. Pour milk into a sauce pan over medium heat.
  2. Add in chocolate, sugar, and coconut extract.
  3. Whisk consistently until chocolate has fully dissolved into milk.
  4. Once fully combined and hot, take off heat and set aside.
  5. In a small skillet, toast coconut flakes over low heat until golden brown. Stir consistently to make sure they don’t burn (this can happen quick, so be careful!)
  6. Pour hot chocolate in a mug, top with whipped topping, and sprinkle with toasted coconut flakes.
  7. Enjoy!
