This week we’re kicking off the healthy school lunchbox meal planning series with a periscope party!

For those of you watching live or a replay now or checking in sometime this week, I wanted to share something NEW to the meal plans: a downloadable grocery shopping list AND a downloadable meal plan! In week’s past, the meal plan has been listed in the body of the post with a new image added each day but now, you can download everything at the beginning of the week and take it with you to the store, tape it to your refrigerator, add dinners plans on, etc.

 

I would love to hear how your lunchbox packing has been going so far this year. I’m always interested to see what comes home and what the girls eat. Do you ever feel like such a champion mom (or dad) when they come back empty? While I’m not a fan of the clean plate club, there is something secretly satisfying about an empty lunchbox.

MONDAY:

  • Main Dish: Whole Wheat Tortellini with Meat & Veggie Sauce
  • Vegetable: Zucchini sticks

TUESDAY:

  • Vegetable: Cucumber and carrot sticks

  • Fruit: Pineapple

 

WEDNESDAY:

  • Main Dish: Pasta Salad Skewers
 (tortellini, turkey, grape tomato, cheddar cheese cube, cucumber)
  • Dip: Ranch (could also use balsamic vinaigrette or tomato sauce)
  • Fruit: Apples
  • Dairy: Chobani Kids Greek Yogurt Pouch
  • Happy: Stickers

 

THURSDAY:

  • Main Dish: Cheese quesadilla
  • Vegetable: Black bean, corn, & tomato salsa
  • Grain: Corn chips
  • Dip: Guacamole or mashed avocado
  • Fruit: Mango

 

FRIDAY:

  • Main Dish: Hard Cooked Eggs
  • Grain: Whole wheat pancakes
  • Dip: Maple Syrup
  • Dairy: Chobani Kids Greek Yogurt Tube
  • Fruit: Apples
