I was talking my friend and fellow mom, Alison, this past weekend at the beach and as usual, our conversations turned to our children, what we’re cooking, and the random things we could use in our lives to make them just a little bit easier. She expressed that she is in desperate need of some simple, low-sugar, high-protein breakfast ideas for her family that she can whip up in no time (or even make the night before) and that they will love. Because school will be back in session in Alabama in a week, our mornings of eating leisurely breakfasts are being replaced with a speedy, filling and nutritious morning meal.
