Is it possible to make donuts even more fun and delicious? Ellie, Frances and I say YES it is! Watch and we’ll show you how to make our yummy Apple Donuts. They’re simple, can be customized to include your favorite “icing” and “toppings,” and best of all fit any type of diet.

HOW TO MAKE FUNFETTI APPLE DONUTS

 

What you need

Apple(s)

Spread: peanut butter, cream cheese, Greek yogurt, Nutella, sunflower seed butter, hazelnut spread, pureed pumpkin

Toppings: sprinkles, toffee pieces, chocolate chips, dried fruit, chopped nuts, unsweetened shredded coconut

Apple corer

Sharp Knife

Paper Towel

Funfetti Apple Donuts

What to do: It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Wash and dry apples. Using a sharp knife width-wise into 1/2-inch rounds. Pat dry with paper towels.

2. Use an apple corer to remove center of apple making the “donut hole.” If you don’t have an apple corer, try using a jigger, pastry bag top, milk top, or just a knife to make the hole.

3. Spread with favorite spreads and top with toppings.
