Individual 7-Layer Dips for tailgates and parties (and to keep those double dippers away!)

Try these adorable, portion-controlled individual 7-layer dips if you’re gearing up for the ballgames today or planning a pick-up appetizer for an upcoming party. The quantity of each ingredient will vary based on the size container you use but it isn’t difficult to adjust accordingly. I’m showing the dips (above) in small plastic tumblers which offers enough dip for around 3-4 bites. You can also use shot glasses or votives for a smaller taste or make one large dip in a square or rectangular baking dish.

If you need some assistance assembling the dips, bring the kids into the kitchen and use a muffin tin to separate the ingredients. Line up the ingredients according to the recipe order.

Adjust quantity based on container size and layer from bottom to top with the following ingredients:

1. Refried beans (or mashed beans-try white beans, black beans or pinto beans) {BASE}
2. Fresh avocado slices (you can also use guacamole)
3. Plain Greek yogurt (low-fat sour cream may be substituted)
4. Pico de gallo
5. Low-fat shredded cheese
6. Chopped tomatoes
7. Chopped green onions and olives {TOP}
